Increasing Efficiency and Profits for Mexican Restaurant Incorporated’s Mission Burritos


Houston—February 13, 2008—Hangman Corporation, Professional Kitchen Outfitters, is pleased to announce a two-location contract with Mission Burritos. The new locations are in La Centerra at Cinco Ranch in Katy, which is now open, and West University, which is slated to open in April.

Hangman is responsible for all buyouts, supplying the equipment package including installation and designed the kitchen layout of the Katy and West University store. In the West University location, Hangman will provide layout and design of the kitchen including installation of the hood system. Each store is approximately 1,500 square feet.

“Hangman had designed the layout for the original Atomic Burrito restaurant which was later converted into a Mission Burrito, and had done an excellent job. We chose to work with them again because we needed to move as rapidly as possible, and they are the obvious choice,” said Chris Smith, senior vice-president of Mexican Restaurants Inc., (MRI). “We will build 60 more stores in the next five years, and we want to keep it as close to the original design as possible. We expect to streamline the restaurant to make it the best possible dining experience.”

Hangman has revamped the original design in West Houston to optimize that the restaurant operations.
